Michael G. Kessler has been nominated for the 2008-2009 Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) Board of Regents. Through December 31, 2007, members will be able to vote online for the candidate of their choice at www.acfe.com.

Michael G. Kessler is the President/CEO of Kessler International, the world-renowned consulting firm specializing in forensic accounting, computer forensics, and corporate investigations. He has supervised and conducted thousands of complex and high-profile engagements. With more than 30 years’ experience, his assistance is sought by attorneys, corporations, and government agencies for both investigations and staff training.
Kessler has held the positions of chief of investigations for the New York State (NYS) Department of Taxation and Finance, deputy inspector general for the NYS Metropolitan Transportation Authority, director of the NYS Revenue Crimes Bureau, and an assistant chief auditor/investigator for the NYS special prosecutor.
Kessler holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Executive Management from St. John’s University and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Business from Pace University. He has attained accreditation from the Academy of Experts in the United Kingdom. Kessler is a regular contributor to numerous trade publications, and is the editor of “The Kessler Report” and co-author of “Fraud Audit Review Manual for Hospitals,” published by the Health Care Financing Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
