Tracing Hostile Contacts

The anonymity of the Internet is perhaps one of the attractions for many individuals. Going online allows you to become whomever you choose to be within your limitless imagination. However, the same anonymity can become a dangerous element if utilized in an incorrect manner. If an individual is attempting to harass you it can easily be accomplished by means of computer technology

The Internet has become a main source of communication today and as such we are all reliant on the use of e-mail. Without e-mail our borders are seriously shortened and we cannot have the global communication that is possible with the Internet. But what happens when someone gets hold of this address and is now sending death threats or maybe simply flooding your e-mail system with so much junk that you can not even obtain your regular mail? Kessler International's Computer Crime Division has a staff ready to help stop the problem before it grows in proportion.

Computer stalking is a relatively new phenomenon, but is becoming a troublesome reality in our high tech world. If you or someone within your organization is being stalked by constant threatening e-mails or if outsiders are tampering with your system by introduction of viruses in your system, we are able to put our computer forensics lab to work to pinpoint the source of this harassment. The days of anonymous e-mails are over. At Kessler International we can track down the source and help terminate the problem. In many cases we have been successful in obtaining a conviction of the criminals involved through our computer forensics expert witnesses who can pinpoint the terrorists and help bring them to justice.

We can take the anonymity out of the picture and track down the author of those threatening messages. By tracing backward we are able to locate from where these messages are originating and in most cases this is enough to bring the problem to a swift and successful resolution
