Case Studies
1. A manufacturing company was being sued because a retail chain claimed their profits were falling because of defective products sold to them. The team at Kessler International was called in to provide litigation support for the manufacturer’s counsel. Our experts conducted interviews with former employees and searched through hundreds of documents. They reviewed the company’s financial history and noticed significant changes to the structure and management of the retail chain. For example, the retail chain instituted new return and price adjustment policies. Our experts also assisted counsel in obtaining a court order, which would seize the retail chains financial records and zero in on their losses.

2. A large housing development project failed and the property owner sued the construction company for mismanaging allocated funds. The team at Kessler International was called in provide litigation support for the property’s owners counsel. Our experts discovered most of the sub-contractors were intimate friends of the general contractor and they were contracted for the wrong reasons. The property owner’s requests for extras were granted but the budget was never adjusted. The general contractor’s impractical assumptions, that the property owner would pay for the difference proved wrong and caused the project to come to a screeching halt. After counsel presented our findings in court, the general contractor agreed to a settlement.
